A new college campus for Central Beds College in Chartmoor Road, Leighton Buzzard.
GTA Civils & Transport produced a full Transport Assessment necessary to obtain detailed planning permission for the new site in Chartmoor Road.
GTA were able to demonstrate the site had good accessibility to public transport and walk /cycle networks, and that the anticipated student profile was well provided for by those modes.
The work also included a wider highway network assessment of the impact of the proposed development including various junction assessments, modelling the impacts of the proposal in the year of opening and five years hence.
GTA Civils & Transport also produced a Travel Plan to promote sustainable travel use and initiatives.
